Adaptive PID Control for Energysaving of Hydraulic Excavator Based

Abstract: An adaptive PID controller for energysaving of a hydraulic excavator based on the single neuron concept was designed on the basis of the fact that the single neuron features the PID characteristics. The online adjustments of the coefficients of proportion, integral and differential of the classical PID controller were realized by means of the selfstudy of the neurons, allowing the adaptive control for the powermatching of the hydraulic excavator. The simulation results showed that the single neuron PID adaptive controller is characterized by the strong robustness.
