Fast dissolution of RNA from waste brewing yeast by high voltage pulsed electric fields

Abstract:

RNA from waste Brewer′s yeast was studied as raw material to analysis the effect of HPEF on the dissolution condition of RNA by water, ethanol, and TCA as extraction solvent, respectively. The mathematical model of RNA rapid extraction from waste Brewer′s yeast by HPEF was made use of twice general purpose rotation battery testing design. The mathematical model was given. The RNA yield by ethanol as extraction solvent was 1.69 times of it by water. The RNA yield enhanced 40.86%. The best parameters of extraction RNA from waste Brewer′s yeast by HPEF were ethanol as extraction solvent, 50 kV/cm as electric field strength, 2 as pulse number(0.0067s as pulse time) ,liquidsolid ratio as 30∶1, in which condition that the RNA yield reached to 0.85%.
