Test and simulation on a hydraulic power steering system

Abstract:

The basic structure and the principle of the hydraulic power steering system and the test of pump and valve were introduced,the model based on the valve structure was built,and the steering wheel torque was validated by the handling and stability test under three test speeds.Effect of structure parameters on characteristics of valve,and the vehicle handling and stability were analyzed,the results can be used for reference on HPS system design.
