Collecting energy distribution curve from diagnostic X-ray coherent scatter images

Abstract:

To extract the concentric rings from X-ray coherent scatter images for getting the energy distribution curve,first the X-ray coherent scatter image was transformed successively into a binary image by using K-means algorithm and mathematical morphology methods.Then the effective region was extracted from the binary image inside the orthogonal energy projection space,and then,the centroid of rings was calculated.Finally it was built for the curve of the energy distribution of medical diagnostic X-ray coherent scatter image.
