Control method for electro-hydraulic servo system based on Lyapunov direct method

Abstract: A position tracking control scheme was proposed for a common class of electro-hydraulic servo system based on the Lyapunov direct method. A simple Lyapunov function was constructed for the system and specific methods were given to decide the related parameters and to get the control law. The system stability was ensured symptotically and the scheme could be applied to all electro-hydranlic servo systems with this kind of mathematical model. Taking a super low-speed hydraulic press system as an example, the proposed control scheme was applied successfully. The simulation result proved the validity of the proposed control scheme.
