Design of H robust controller for combustion system

Abstract: To overcome the weakness of traditional control strategy for combustion system in power plant, this paper proposes a design of H robust controller which takes the radiant energy as the intermediate variation of cascade control. The procedure of the controller design is presented. The stability and robustness of the controller are analyzed by simulation. Finally, the designed controller is compared with the fuzzy PI controller which is based on self-turning for radiant energy. Simulation results show that the designed controller has good robust stability and robust performance.
