Imperfect channel state information based D2D power allocation algorithm

Abstract: An optimal power allocation algorithm is developed for cellular and Device-to-Device (D2D) hybrid network, where the Channel State Information (CSI) is imperfect. The obtained power solution is a simple but solid closed-form using the Lagrange multiplier method. The proposed power allocation algorithm is more robust to the CSI as compared with the traditional maximum transmit power allocation scheme. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can obtain higher received Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) than that obtained using traditional power allocation scheme.
