Resource allocation algorithm for different delay traffic in relay-based OFDM systems

Abstract: In order to solve resource allocation problem in heterogeneous system with Delay-Constrained (DC) users and No-Delay-Constrained (NDC) users, under the power constraints for base station and relay stations to guarantee data rates for DC users and with the maximization of the sum-rate of NCD users, an adaptive allocation algorithm is proposed. In the subcarrier allocation, both subcarrier matching and non-matching of two-hop relay links are considered. In the power allocation, optimal power allocation is obtained. Simulation results show that the proposed resource allocation algorithm has better performance with lower computation complexity.
