Shifting strategy of digital hydraulic transmission system for wheel loader

Abstract: In order to solve the problems of low efficiency and high cost of the existing hydraulic transmission of wheel loader, a digital controlled hydraulic transmission (DHST) scheme of fixed step ratio automotive transmission was proposed based on digital hydraulic components and their control technology. To ensure the engine work steadily in the economic region, combined with the shovel operating condition of the wheel loader, fuzzy shift control strategies of the digital pumps and motors displacement were designed to realize the dynamic optimal matching between the combustion engine and the digital pumps, digital motors and the changing load. The feasibility of the scheme was verified by AMESim simulation. This research provides a new design concept for the wheel loader transmission system, and it has certain reference significance for the design of other mechanical transmission system.
