Robust optimal design for reliability based on analytic hierarchy process-particle swarm method

Abstract: Reliability-based robust optimal design for mechanical parts and assemblies is transferred into multi-objective problem by multi-objective decision in this paper. In order to promote solving effective of robust optimal design model with multi-objective on mechanical parts and assemblies, the Analytic Hierarchy Process-Particle Swarm (AHP-PS) method is presented for multi-objective model of robust optimal design for reliability. The experiment shows that this method can obtain the information of torsion bar on robust optimal design for reliability easily and effectively.
