Method of reliability design for structure under predetermined life of structures

Abstract:

At the phase of original design for hydraulic turbine runner structure,the key question is how to design structural components and consider their fatigue life. According to probability density function of fatigue strength under given life from P-S-N curve and probability density function of stress amplitude for hydraulic turbine runner structure from experimental data, the method of calculating working pressure head under predetermined life and the reliability design method of hydraulic turbine runner structure under preset life are accomplished by stressstrength interference model.
