VATS right upper lobectomy and bronchoplasty:1 case report with literature review

Abstract:

Objective To explore the curative effect of one case of right central location lung cancer treated by VATS right upper lobectomy and bronchoplasty, and to review the associated literature. Methods Wedge resection of right main bronchus was performed after mobilization and division of upper bobe vessels, then two edges were approximated with 3 mm stitch interval. Results The postoperative recovery was satisfied with 5 d chest tube duration.The pathologic result demonstrated squamous lung cancer and CT scan showed well inflated remnant lobes. Conclusion VATS right upper lobectomy and bronchoplasty is a good procedure choice for the patients with right upper lobe cental location lung cancer with VATS indications.
