Parameter identification and dynamic characteristicsof semi-active hydraulic mount

Abstract: The basic structure and working principle of the semi-active hydraulic mount is introduced. According to the mechanical model, the mathematic model is built; then a semi-active hydraulic mount model containing the mechanical parts and fluid is built. Each inner structures, the motion situation of the fluid and gas, the open and close of the air channel are all considered in the model. In order to get accurate model parameters, a test is conducted to identify the parameters, such as the equivalent pumping area, the rubber volumetric stiffness, the membrane volumetric stiffness and the decoupler stiffness. The model is simulated using the identified parameters. The dynamic stiffness and loss angle obtained from the simulation are compared with that of experiment. The comparison results demonstrate the reasonability and the accuracy of the parameter identification method and the mount model. The semi-active hydraulic mount model could provide a foundation for the mount structure optimization and full vehicle modeling.
