Calculating Blank of Shell-like Parts Based on Triangular Mesh System

Abstract: An algorithm to calculate blank of shell like parts based on triangular mesh system is presented.According to the conditions that deformations in material are most evenly distributed and volume remains constant,a positive definite target functional is constructed.Minimizing the functional with an iterative scheme,contour of blank is obtained.Because condition of volume remains constant is included in the method,calculated result is more reasonable.Numerical test of method shows its rapid convergence and easy practical application.
