Integrated RH process control modeling technology and application

Abstract: An integrated RH process control model based on basic theory of metallurgy and RH refining treatment was developed. It consists of static decarburization model, dynamic decarburization model, temperature model, alloy minimum cost model and composition prediction model. This integrated model is adaptable and systematic with low cost. It has been implemented successfully in No 3 RH of Baosteel, new-built RH of Meishan Steel Making Plant, No 2 RH of Baosteel, new-build RH of the First Steel Making Plant of Shanghai. The application of artificial intelligence auto-modeling software developed on the basis of data, expert's experience and formula achieved preferable control precision.
