Optimal sampling period selection methed for network control system

Abstract: The time delay of control system induced by network was analyzed, and the influence of both sampling period and this time delay to network control systems(NCS) was discussed. Based on control performance optimization and network scheduling condition, considering system control and network scheduling, an optimized model and sampling period selection algorithm were proposed. An example shows that the algorithm satisfies performance requirement for NCS, optimizes network scheduling, and improves network efficiency. Furthermore this proposed method is also the guidance for the sampling period selection in NCS.
