HE Quan-ling,LI Ying,ZHOU Yun-shi
J4. 2005, 43 (05):  551-560.
Abstract ( 1137 )   PDF (516KB) ( 410 )
This paper provides a theory and a method of constructing multivariable non-tensor product biorthogonal wavelets from existing univariable wavelets via direction integral so that the perfect properties of excellent univariable wavelets can be retained.None of the wavlets constructed in this paper is based on Box spline since neither the scaling function nor the dual scaling function constructed in this paper by direction integral is a Box spline.

Abstract ( 1245 )   PDF (276KB) ( 354 )
We have discovered the relationship between classical heavy-tailed class D of random variables and heavy-tailed class ERV which can be more easily dealt with, and we have obtained the accurate large deviation conclusion about random sums of heavy-tailed random variables that belongs to the class D. As to the random sums when summands’distribution functions are heavier than λ·e-c , we have got similar conclusions.

Abstract ( 1306 )   PDF (238KB) ( 404 )
The present paper shows that the integral equation with which the price of underlying assets meets can be written as a regression model,on the basis of the weighted local linear estimator of the regression function is established in the regression model. The estimator of the sample of the drift coefficient depending on the adapatation of the estimator of the regression function is also constructed. The average squared convergence property of the estimator of the sample is also proved so as to make it possible that we can use the estimator of the sample to construct the estimator of the drift coefficient.

GE Jin-hui,YANG Guang
J4. 2005, 43 (05):  594-598.
Abstract ( 1235 )   PDF (372KB) ( 386 )
By using the algorithm of B-spline surface representation, initial B-spline surface control lattice was constructed to approach scattered data sets at first,on the basis of which the bounding box was designed to search locally and to detect the error, and to transfer finding problem into computing problem. To deal with small elements via element condensation, the regional numbers of the exceeding errors are reduced and surface is optimized in the region of the exceeding errors, then surface reconstruction and its optimization are realized from coarse to fine. The algorithm is modified in the error detection and regional processing so that the searching is more quick and computing is simplified. Thus the speed has been quickened and the computing is much easier. It is also proved that the computing is easy and feasible to make, and the approximating effect is quite good.

Abstract ( 1231 )   PDF (384KB) ( 339 )
A new evolutionary programming method known as population heuristic evolutionary programming (PHEP)was proposed in this paper. The information of distribution-status of population can be known by controlling four parameters of population in the evolution process and the mutation size of individuals can be adjusted according to such information,so as to overcome the deficiency of traditional EP, which updates the mutation size blindly.PHEP was tested by using benchmark functions under high-dimension condition, the experimental results show that the performance of PHEP is better than that of other EP method obviously under high-dimension condition.

YUAN Yan-hong,LI Feng
J4. 2005, 43 (05):  635-637.
Abstract ( 1275 )   PDF (272KB) ( 316 )
Electronic structure of multiwalled carbon nanotubes have been investigated as a function of the intershell coupling effect. The tight-binding model was employed.Theoretically, the intershell coupling makes energy bands of multiwalled carbon nanotubes split and the degeneracies in the energy bands reduced, and the bandgaps of multiwalled carbon nanotubes decreased. The small bandgaps of multiwalled carbon nanotubes ensure the presence of a vibrational manifold in the optical region for each shell so as to minimize optical emission.

J4. 2005, 43 (05):  645-649.
Abstract ( 1325 )   PDF (581KB) ( 331 )
The ceramic coatings on the Al-alloy substrate have been synthesized by means of microarc oxidation (MAO) technique. Effects of the unipolar pulse current density on the mechanical and chemical properties of the coatings have been studied via XRD, SEM, EDS, and microhardness test. The samples fabricated at high current densities consist mainly of α-Al2O3 phase, while the samples fabricated at low current densities are almost completely composed of γ-Al2O3. The content analysis on the cross-section of the coating indicates that the ratio of α-Al2O3 content to γ-Al2O3 content shows complicated changes with the variation of the film depth, which is different from the results reported from other literatures.

Abstract ( 1156 )   PDF (299KB) ( 348 )
Effects of pH value on the sorption and diffusion of Eu(Ⅲ) in compacted benton ite were studied with the capillary method. The results suggest that diffusion of Eu(Ⅲ) in compacted bentonite decreases with increasing pH value. The sorption of Eu(Ⅲ) increases with increasing pH value. The intensity of the compacted bentonite, i.e., the interlaminary space of compacted bentonite, significantly contributes to the diffusion and sorption of radionuclides in compacted bentonite. The results fit the Ficks second law very well.

Abstract ( 1459 )   PDF (291KB) ( 353 )
The solid-state reaction method was used to prepare the perovskite oxide SmCoO3.The structure and properties of the samples have been investigated by XRD,Raman spectral techniques and DC measurements and so on.The XRD and Raman spectra show that the mixtures of Co2O3 and Sm2O3 can form a single-phase perovskite oxide SmCoO3 by solid-state reaction around 1353K.The clearly observed band in the room temperature Raman spectra of single-phase SmCoO3 is at 140~175cm-1,,which is assigned to the stretching of Sm—O and the winding of O—Sm—O.The single-phase SmCoO3is an insulator below 600K,and the conductivity is enhanced obviously with temperature increasing above 600K.This may be explained by the fact that an insulator to semiconductor transition occurs around 470K.The thermal expansion coefficient(2.17×10-5,K-1,)of the single-phase SmCoO3is approximately equal to that of doped LaGaO3,but bigger than that of SDC(Ce0.85Sm0.15O2)above 873K.

Abstract ( 1211 )   PDF (240KB) ( 316 )
Dynamic kinetic analyses were performed for the thermal decomposition of basic zinc carbonate by means of TG and SDTA measurements in CO2. The thermal behavior and the kinetics of the decomposition were studied. The effect of heating rate on the kinetics was investigated. To estimate the activation energy of the decomposition, the Friedman isoconversional method was applied. The activation energy (Ea) was calculated as a function of conversion (α). The results confirm that more than one reaction occurs in the decomposition of basic zinc carbonate. The activation energy obtained in CO2 atmosphere is 286.84 kJ/mol.

J4. 2005, 43 (05):  683-686.
Abstract ( 1493 )   PDF (332KB) ( 321 )
Acanthopanacis Senticosi Polysaccharides (ASPs) were extracted by hot water. ASPs in the filtrate were successively precipitated with alcohol. When the quantity of alcohol was equal to the volume of the ASPs filtrate, the production yield of ASPs was the highest. The yields of the fraction productions were decreasing with the increase of the quantitiy of alcohol and the total yield of ASPs was up to 0.54%. The inhibitions of the fraction productions to O2- and ·OH were assayed by the method of pyrogallol in the fenton system. The results show that the antioxidative effect of the fraction productions is improved with the increase of the quantity of alcohol. When the quantity of alcohol was 6 times the volume of ASPs filtrate, the elimination rate of the production to O2-could reach to the highest value of 47.7%. When the quantity of alcohol was 4 times the volume of ASPs filtrate, the elimination rate of the production to ·OH could reach to the highest value of 68.2%. The inhibition of ASPs to the lipid peroxidation of the erythrocyte membrane was improved with the increase of the concentration of ASPs. When the concentration of ASPs was above 0.4 g/L, ASPs could not only inhibit the lipid peroxidation but also produce some reductive effect to the erythrocyte membrane.
